New research conducted by the team here at Taskrabbit found that despite spending more time at home than any other year in recent history, almost half the UK finds any excuse to put off their household to-do lists. But what chores have us procrastinating the most?

The most hated cleaning jobs
Unsurprisingly 6 out of the 10 most hated household tasks fall under, you guessed it, cleaning. Cleaning the oven, cleaning the toilet, de-moulding the bathroom and cleaning tile grouting came top of the list, shortly followed by dusting hard-to-reach places and scrubbing the bathroom.
In fact we hate cleaning the oven so much that rolling up our sleeves and spraying on the oven cleaner takes us on average seven whole months. And when it comes to excuses, responses like “can’t be bothered” and would rather watch TV were used time and again.
